Professional Development Committee
This committee develops annual plan for all educational programs the chapter hosts across the state of Oregon and in SW Washington, including Senior Salons, special education programs, webinars, Development Professional’s Library Series)

Plans and executes all aspects of the Chapter's most important event. Send us an email with your area of interest, and experience, from soliciting and securing sponsorships, to finalizing the invitation list and executing event arrangements. This fun committee is a good way to network for development professionals who want to be part of a premiere event.

Building the future bank of fundraising professionals, volunteers on this committee to assist with establishment of the AFP Collegiate AFP Chapter at University of Oregon.
Membership Committee Lynn Andrews
Welcomes, recruits and retains members. Hosts quarterly newcomer luncheons.
Diversity Committee Mary Lee Alder
Promotes diversity in the chapter membership.
Certification Committee Sam Vigil, Jr.
Develops proposal for annual certification survey courses. This committee includes a number of development professionals who are not yet members of AFP.

Creates and implements communication and promotion of chapter events and programs.

Organizes educational programming, networking, and outreach to chapter members outside of the greater Portland area.
